Track
Core Concepts
For everyone starting Codesphere training. Read this before the developer or administrator track, regardless of role.
About this track
The shared vocabulary every Codesphere role builds on — what the platform is, how it is architected, and the terms you need before anything else makes sense.
Format
- Pre-reading — self-paced, before the on-site. All seven articles below; if you read nothing else, read Landscape and Workspace and Runtimes.
- On-site — one joint 90-minute block for all tracks, which repeats the material, puts the terms in context and builds the two pictures that hold it together.
What you'll be able to do
- Say what Codesphere is in one sentence, and place it against whatever you run today.
- Explain where the platform runs, what OMS is for, and how managed services fit the model.
- Use the central terms — Landscape, Workspace, Runtime, Managed Service, Organization, Team — correctly and confidently.
